As the before pictures in the slideshow reveal, the building had not been professionally maintained. Actually some pretty shabby work had been done over the years. We get a lot of this around here, many contractors just don't care about quality and many owners don't want to pay for it. With a great deal of hard work we were able to bring this old shop back to life and with Davids ideas, we were able to create an atmosphere worthy to house Fine Art. If you are ever in Murphy, You just gotta stop in and check the place out!
A few details about what we accomplished on this project are: Repaired and re-finished the existing drywall, Primed and painted the drywall, Milled, stained, finished and installed new base throughout the showroom, sanded and applied 2 coats of poly to the floors, installed track lighting, trimmed out the entrance door and window (interior side only), installed hanging system for artwork, installed ceramic tile in restroom, etc. We do indeed consider David to be one of our most valued clients, and look forward to doing more projects in the future with him. David and his shop are both a great addition to our community.
