So, I suppose you could say that "Dayspring Concepts" is the beginning of an idea!

"Are you a state licensed contractor?"

The answer is, "No, I am not a state licensed general contractor at this time." In the state of North Carolina, it is not required for those that contract jobs for $30,000 or less to be licensed in N.C.

I have studied all of the required material in preparation to take the exam.
I am also constantly educating myself in every aspect of this business. Dayspring Concepts does build, remodel, etc., as per N.C. & International building codes or higher standards where possible. You will always recieve our very best.

What experience in the remodeling/construction industry do we have?

I have worked in the construction business since 1978, in one form or another, I myself am a Carpenter by trade. I do not believe a man can learn the craft of carpentry in just a few short years, it is a lifetime learning experience. As my mentor once told me when I ask, "Bill, when are you going to raise me to carpenter?" (This was after I had worked as a helper for about 4 years.) He replied by handing me a framing square and saying, "T.C., take this square and when you learn it well enough that you can do your income taxes on it, then you can consider yourself a carpenter." Needless to say that confused me. I have never forgot those words. Also I know now that you can't do your taxes on a framing square. In order to understand what Bill meant, I had to learn that square upside down and backwards. He was simply telling me that no matter how long I was in this business that I would never learn it all. Over time Materials change, procedures change etc.

I can do most anything to a home, including: all types of Carpentry, Minor Electrical, Plumbing, Drywall, Ceramic tile, etc., I will only do work that I feel I can do in a professional manner. I have worked in both residential and commercial projects, over the past 30 years. I have run crews of up to 18 carpenters and helpers in the past.
