I hate HGTV! I really do.
They make my job sooo much harder than it has to be. I mean c’mon, they can remodel an entire kitchen in less than a weekend and for nearly nothing $ wise! It just isn’t realistic at all.
Homeowners love HGTV. They watch to get ideas for their home, which is fine, however, it is TV, entertainment, not much of it shows detail or the actual time it takes a pro that knows his stuff and takes all the steps etc to complete a project correctly.
I even get Homeowners that want to help me, Pleeease. I can’t deal with that.
I wish HGTV would be forced to label their shows as “For Entertainment Only” or something of that nature.
I am a serious minded remodeling contractor that prides himself in his ability to perform my job well. To do so I must be able to take the time the job requires to make sure all the details are covered, Sorry you can’t help and no it won’t be complete in 30 minutes.
I needed to get that off my chest. I feel better now. TC
